TRANSPARENCY

The bylaws of the association, whose last reform was approved in the extraordinary assembly held on 13th of November 2022 in Almería, regulate the most important aspects of the internal functioning of Wikimedia Spain.

We are financed thanks to the contributions of our members, donations made by individuals and the Wikimedia Foundation grant. All of this allows us to carry out our different activities and projects, as well as to pay for different administrative expenses, staff salaries and the servers where we host our web services. We want all our events, activities and communication channels to be accessible, safe and welcoming for everyone. We are working on a code of conduct to ensure a safe and pleasant working environment. In the meantime, we apply the Universal Code of Conduct, which applies to the entire Wikimedia Movement.

In line with the Wikimedia movement’s  2030 strategy, since 2019 we have been developing multi-year strategic plans that define the goals and areas of action of our association. Below you can consult the plan in force since 2022.
